So.. as I'm preparing to get shocks on order, maybe a lift, and definitely up-sized tires, I now have 5 wheels that I'm going to use. 16x8+30 wheels. I am going to a 29 or 30" tire. depends on if I can get a LSD 3.73 located soon. eyeballs on 255/65/16 Toyo Open Country AT2s or Michelin Defender LTX M/S.

Anyways, how have yall fit an upsized rim and tire on the underside?
Will the OE 5 lug holding setup accept 8" wide wheels and 245+ wide tires?

The clamp and bolt looks different on the underside of the 6 lug vehicles to fit larger center bore and tires I think.

    edit: picture of my wheels

My spare is a 265/60/18 and it fits just fine.

Honestly I took my spare out and stuck it in the bed. Stock everything but if I needed to get to it I didn't want to have it stuck under the truck. Fits great!
