Looking at getting budget Led fog lights, I was wondering if anyone has tried these out? I was thinking of getting these and ordering some amber covers for them.

If you want amber, I think @CaliRaisedLed makes an amber (and tri color) fog light kit.

FWIW amber doesn’t provide that great of visibility.. I sold my brackets and went back to stock housings with nokya hyper yellow bulbs.

I did too. But the functionality wasn’t all that great.

Those are not fog lights, at all. They will be useless in fog and not safe to use on the street with no engineered cut off or fog beam pattern, meaning they will blind forward traffic and be ineffective in fog and other poor weather conditions. Take a look at this thread for real fog lights. You can get the Toyota OEM LED fogs that are plug and play for about the same price as that kit, which will offer far better output. And if wanting the pod look, there are numerous budget friendly pods that have a real fog pattern. Note the updated links at the top of the thread with the latest foglight releases.

If you are looking for a cheap pod that is a fog pattern and crazy bright, then these:
    https://www.amazon.com/OFFROADTOWN-Driving-Waterproof-Motorcycle-Warranty/dp/B078PMCXXH

They are covered in the first page of the thread linked earlier. Otherwise for a higher intensity output option in a more useable color like selective yellow, check out Diode Dynamics SS3 fogs, but they are 2x the price of the ones above.
