    From what I can recall, I think winnings over a certain amount are reported via a 1099 as taxable income. With the casino biz booming around here, it gets talked about a bit. Like I said though, no direct experience.

    Regardless, there would be enough $$$ out of that giveaway to make any pinch from the GOV still very worthwhile.

    My mistake, I didn't realize that you had to pay an additional tax if you win a vehicle. Never won anything in my life for that to come up.

    I won a $3k trip and had to pay the taxes on it. For this package though, worst case scenario, you sell the truck and make a crap ton of extra cash.

    Yes, will hit income tax too. There is a taxable value assigned to non-cash transfers of value.

    Fine print also says winner responsible for dealer preperation fees and leaves it open to other costs as well.

    Still worth it for a new truck.
