Got about 180K miles...my exhaust tick has gotten worse. Not sure if its from the headers, exhaust pipes, or exhaust gaskets...I figure at 180K (2006 so 14 years now) my exhaust system could use a full replacement.

I'm not looking for performance gains or for it to sound louder. In fact if it sounds quieter that would be a plus for me. I DON'T want to lose performance though. OEM exhaust seems pretty pricey...what are some of my options?

I live in NV and have to SMOG my car although I've never seen them visually inspect underneath.

    Thanks!

I replaced my exhaust last year from the Y pipe back. I went OEM for the fact the original lasted as long as it did. I've never seen aftermarket last any where near as long.
Buy once, cry once, and forget about it for another decade.

I think my headers are warped or the exhaust manifold gasket is shot. The ticking is most noticeable from there. So you replaced the exhaust but still have the original cats? I'm thinking I should replace the cats too at this point.

Original cats. With over 300k on them.
If you wanna throw money away, I'm here to catch it. Lol
The tick is normal. Have been listening to it for years.
