Those are made in Fort Worth, TX. The dude is a veteran and makes solid stuff.

I already have a bumper, but love that y'all are supporting american owned and manufactured.

That makes way more sense than the other quote that I quoted :)

What makes this more solid of a mount vs a regular winch bumper?

All the vendor on this site make great products in my opinion. So to say one is better than another is a hard case to sell. I do think pretty much all the low profile winch mounts like this one are all very similar and will all do a fine job. But this particular one at this price point shipped is what makes the difference at this particular time. Sorry for a response that's wasn't much help haha. If you are close to a vendor and don't have to pay shipping then the group buy is less appealing but when all the other offerings in this style are $600 and up plus $80-$100 to ship makes the group buy of $475 shipped a great bargin on a quality product. Can't say it looks better than any other bc that's is all a preference of the buyer.

SOS is less then 3hr drive, but im coming from an ARB. Its been through many accidents. They hauled away when truck was totalled, thats what i call SOLID.

Sos is a 3 hr drive for me too but there and back plus gas just didn't seem worth it to me when a similar product shipped is cheaper than just the low pro sos bumper picked up. And it's not just any similar product, it's got many praises on this site and a good reputation. So many variables made my decision for me. Hope this helps, fellow Asian redneck!

As for the ARB, they are stout no doubt about that. I just didn't want a full bumper and all the weight that comes with it. Didn't want to change my suspension and like being able to reuse my stock fog lights with the low profile options.

I agree on the weight.. no real plans for the Taco. Thats what the EVO X is for.
All i see is the FJC install none for the Taco...
But I am thinking about this mini bumper

Anyone need a 2nd gen bumper and hitch? Thanks to @ty.s07 he gave me his bumper and I don't really need it, so I'm paying it forward to anyone else who may need it. Free, you come and get it. It's almost in perfect condition!

Just ordered a backpack cooler so this one can go. Located in the Augusta, GA area, willing to meet up and ship if need be.

    Yeti Hopper 20 w/ sidekick $140

Used but in perfect shape other than being a little dirty. No tears or stains on the inside. Also have the maintenance lube for the zipper.

Anybody in need of the OME D29XL AAL for the Dakar CS047R leaf pack?

    Price reference:
    Amazon - $43 each (https://www.amazon.com/ARB-D29XL-Dakar-Extra-Spring/dp/B004P9IRE8)
Headstrong Offroad - $85 for the set (https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p465/OME_Add-a-leaf_(PAIR)_-_D29XL_.html)

Neither of those include the longer center bolt/pin.

    Center bolt price reference:
    Amazon - $12.72 each (https://www.amazon.com/ARB-UCB17-Leaf-Spring-Center/dp/B01E212A6O)
    4Wheel Parts - $12.72 each (https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/arb-leaf-spring-center-bolt-ucb17/_/R-BHWQ-UCB17)

I have 2 D29XL AAL and 2 longer OME center pins that are brand new.

I think $80 is a fair price, but I'm willing to negotiate if you disagree.
