Ha I’m not an expert. Just my gut feeling based on past trends and my sense of how people have been feeling about the market the last year or so. Coupled with current hysteria (not mine).

Except we now are in the unknown.

The Fed has no real ammo, short of rates going negative.

The Fed has dumped billions of dollars into the repo market

The American consumer for the most part is tapped out

The Federal deficit is at record highs

Housing is in a bubble again

    Zombie companies are a thing

I'm not saying it's going to zero, but we're in deep this time.

I think we can look to SARS, MERS, ebola, etc. to see where this will go.

More importantly though, the panic comments (this is the big one, this is it, etc.) are the same thing people were saying during those events.

I like to find old articles and comments and read them online. The panic over these events happens every time, but the market always recovers.

It will be interesting to see once china starts back up again if air freight takes off (sorry about the pun). Companies will need stuff NOW. I know it's in a pretty huge slump right now.

Let the market crash. I am ready to buy and it's like real estate is on clearance. Profit is made when you buy, not when you sell

Yup I have close to 20k cash in a rolled over IRA i need to invest and have been waiting for this. It's been sitting there for awhile because I knew the climb was unsustainable and all it needed was one straw to break it's back. Now let's see if I can gain in the long run over having it sit on the sidelines.

The Dow went to what like 4 digits back in 2008 and evreyone survived, all will be good in the long run.

I will say if I was planning in retiring very soon I would be sweating.

Lots of people have been out there spending like this economy could never change. Basically EVERYTHING has been inflated beyond all common sense. This dip could pop right back up once the virus fears are quelled or it could plunge us into another global recession/depression.

This "crises" has shown me I need to learn options trading. Confuses the hell out of me, which is even more the reason why I want to learn it.

Thanks man, hoping for double digits on this one soon. Tried to buy $1.40 but couldn’t wait, in at $1.89 for 140 shares.

I almost bought APT back when it was under 5 and just now checked it... It’s at $38. Kicking myself pretty good on that one. They manufacture protective masks.
