    Is it as easy as swapping a hood from sport to off road or anyother trim?

    Physically, nope. Finding someone with a scoop that doesn't want it is a bit more challenging.

    Unbolt and rebolt. There is most likely slight adjustment, so be careful when letting it down the first time.

    I guess it depends on the Tacoma's color and age/condition of the replacement hood as to how well it will match existing paint.
