Hood swap

Is it as easy as swapping a hood from sport to off road or anyother trim?

 

If you can get your hands on one, yes.

 

Physically, nope. Finding someone with a scoop that doesn't want it is a bit more challenging.

 

O I have found a hood to swap just wanted to make sure it was that easy.

 

Unbolt and rebolt. There is most likely slight adjustment, so be careful when letting it down the first time.

 

I have a black hood with scoop that I'm looking to trade for a non-scoop hood

 

Oops, I'm a bit of an idiot.. didn't realize this was the 3rd gen forum

 

I have a non-scoop hood for sale.

 

There's also the windshield washer nozzles

 

I guess it depends on the Tacoma's color and age/condition of the replacement hood as to how well it will match existing paint.
