I just picked up a set of Cali Raised bolt on sliders yesterday. They look well built and strong. Haven't had a chance to mount them yet though.

 

Well, I missed the boat on that one.... Those look like nice sliders.

 

Anyone been running or have feedback on the Victory 4x4 Blitz sliders for 2nd/3rd gen Tacomas?

I up and got a set of caliraised 25 deg w/ kickout last fall on sale.

Things I like:
-Construction is sturdy (materials/welds)
-Bolt up is pretty tight, havent noticed much flex
-Caliraised is pretty responsive on email/phone

Things I wish I had known before buying:
-The 25 degree sliders sit tight on the body of the truck, barely on line with the outermost extent of the door. I hadn't expected step-sliders but these were tighter than what I had thought from pictures online.

As far as install, antiseize everything, maybe pick up some extra thick grade 8 washers, fluid film the mating surfaces and bolt heads if youre in a state that salts, etc.


Has anyone else with Cali 25 deg sliders done much lifting with a hi-lift btw? It's been winter here and I've yet to have to do so outside of messing around in the driveway.

 

i looking at them for the reason i don't like the ones that stick out really far, have u hit much with them or just kinda slapped them on there at this point?

 

By any chance could anyone show a pic of the bolt-on locations for the rock sliders on a 2nd gen Tacoma? I’m a bit confused on where they are supposed to go and I want to make sure before I purchase?? Thanks!!

 

I went with Demello Offroad's sliders. It's currently under fabrication and I can't wait to put these bad boys on.

 

It would depend on the manufacturer exactly how they bolt up. Here’s some pic from my CBI install.

Does anyone make just the supports for bolt on sliders without the rail?

 

I’ve got demello. I like the filler plates, but i think they kick out too much and kinda look like ear lobes
