Not today, but recently received my adventure kings domin8r lights from a friend in Australia. Painted the rings in pyrite to match (wasnt digging the blue), and installed them.

I just received my "Urgent Safety Recall" notice in the mail. I still have the stock 2+1 leafs that came with my '07. I'm wondering if I really need this recall done? I live in California were rust and corrosion is not much of an issue. Did the dealer install 3+1 springs? Are they better than the 2+1?

I would do it, I think it is more of a safety issue to prevent a leaf from puncturing the gas tank, but in any case they install a brand new rear leaf pack at no charge to you.

My truck is exactly the same as yours. My truck has been towing boats for the last 11 years and some of those boats have been really heavy. The amount of axle wrap on my truck that is occurring is insane, mostly because of the mods I've chosen to do to it and the age of the leaf springs.

agreed. If Toyota is offering to put brand new parts on your 13 year old truck for free, no matter what it is, why not do it?

I also tow a boat but don't seem to get any axle wrap. I found out years ago the u-bolts weren't torque properly from the factory and fixed that back then. Are you sure your u-bolts aren't loose? They should be torqued to I think 73 lbs. My adjustable Ranchos help a lot too. Couldn't tow without them.

Thanks, man. I was happy with the way they turned out. I wasnt sure if I was gonna be able to paint the screws black and have them survive install, but they did. I just shot them (the screws) with self etching primer and then a flat black primer. Didn't see any stainless after I tightened them on, so that was good. Hopefully they'll all hold up.

Signal wire would be my guess. Did the harness come with a relay?
