This might be silly, but my old truck had that same chrome exhaust tip and I wouldn't mind having it on my new one. What would it take to ship that thing to OH?

I'm willing to give up the easy access to not lose the space either in cab or the bed. I'll make sure it's properly documented as there are way to many poorly described relocates on TW. I'm doing way too much reading.

Anyone have some good input on a replacement head unit? Entune is trash and I'm used to the Pioneer AVIC-6000NEX in the black truck.

The problem I'm running into is it seems companies don't give fit information for older trucks. It seems like the newest AVIC 6xxx unit should fit but Pioneer doesn't list it as compatible.

I want a unit that integrates with the stock backup camera and SiriusXM antenna. Being able to use the steering wheel controls and Bluetooth mic would be cool. Android Auto/Apple Carplay would be nice.

Anyone have experience with replacement unit in a 12-15 that they'd like to share?

Check the A/V forum here. There are a couple of options that are popular. With Maestro you can use all of the steering wheel buttons.

While I cant guarantee anything, from a quick search the AVIC-6500(current model) wont fit the new truck. Sticking with Pioneer I would probably go with this https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/DVD+Receivers/AVH-2550NEX A good place to check fitment and sometimes purchase is crutchfield, their fitment guide is usually pretty good.

There's a thread about a radio they say doesn't fit a 2015 happily in a 2015 so I'm not certain their info is 100%, likely if they aren't sure they say no.

Got the Energy Suspension 8.4109G Body Mount Set in. Gonna try to get that in tonight.
    IMG_20200229_123027.jpg

Also got a package from @AJT DESIGN with a Red/Black Key fob and some new knobs for A/C and 4WD controls.IMG_20200229_123153.jpg

The card in the key fob scared me a bit and now I'm concerned that there are people driving around that are so dumb they need instructions for this. It took longer to load the video than to change it out, the hardest part is getting the key ring off. But it looks cool, so there's that.

Toyota rubber is trash. I changed them out on the black truck at 80ish and they were toast. Changing them before they wear out on this truck.

Got the new body mounts installed last night, the stock radiator mounts were definitely done after 5 years and 41kIMG_20200301_153558.jpg
Seems to ride better but that might be a placebo effect, either way I'm happy.

Also got the @AJT DESIGN knobs installed for the AC controls and 4wd. Looks quite good as far as I'm concerned.
    IMG_20200301_153416.jpg

Finished off the tail gate reinforcement install with new hardware. That was not a fun evolution, pulling the old plastic clips and installing nutserts but it should be a better hold.
    IMG_20200301_153634.jpg

Also pulled the exhaust tip and cut the pipe after the axle. Ready for some shenanigans now.
