No. That's not what it says.
And besides, 2TR's first year of production was 2003 (model year 2004).

In fact, I haven't updated this profile in 5-years, outside of my pic, so watch out! You'll have to trust what I say, not what is written! OooOooOoooo, the world we live in :p

Anyways, solid mounts, I'll keep looking and update if I find anything.

Probably hard to find because its kind of a bad idea. Vibrations are the enemy of complicated mechanical devices like cars so it's good to absorb them when possible but hey I understand why one might enjoy them. Sounds like it could be a custom job!

I imagine it wouldn't be hard at all for a decent welder to make solid motor and trans mounts if you took him some regular mounts to go off of.

Did we ever get the 2.7 solid motor mounts?

Why do you guys want solid motor mounts? Trying to vibrate your self to death?

Long travel build Tacoma. Stock mounts tend to break

It's all about performance for my truck. I'm not too worried about vibrations, just want less drivetrain losses & better throttle response

    Still thinking about it.
I used solid mounts on a manual trans Jeep TJ that I had. It did vibrate a bit more in the cab, but it seemed to help me be in control at very low speed/low rpm crawling. I'm talking 0 mph 1st gear/4lo, but I can see how long travel and high speeds and impacts might benefit from them too.

Edit: I would expect alot more vibration to be transmitted to the driver from a four-banger. A straight six like I was referring to in the Jeep is inherently more balanced to begin with.

Just thought I’d throw in an update. I got a box full of parts delivered today. I’m going to take some preliminary measurements this weekend and then I’ll start working on making the solid mounts. Realistically I should have these ready in 3 weeks or so. These are going to fit 2005+ 2.7Ls. I was also going to build the transmission mounts for 2005+ manual 4wd trucks as well.

Something I wanted to run by you guys, how would you guys want these mounts finished? Bare metal so you can paint them your self? Good old fashion primed & painted? Powder coated? Honestly I even know a cerakote guy who can do them for relatively cheap. Obviously the last 2 options will be more expensive to do. I can probably do these on a case by case basis as well since realistically I’m not going to get hundreds of orders on these. Just wanted to get some feedback from you guys. Thanks.

Awesome! I'd like them bare metal so i can paint them.

I'd be interested in a 05+ 2.7L prerunner trans mount too if you would be willing to build them. I know you mentioned 4wd 4cyl but i figured id throw it out there just in case

Once I get the initial stuff going I can probably make one for you.

It's funny, I follow them on youtube. I was doing some googling to see if I should do this to my truck, even though I knew in the back of my head that the answer is no. But I wanted to find out realistically if any noticeable gains are made and if the vibrations at idle are worth it. As soon as I was done doing some light reading this comes up, and I think what the heck.. But it seems like it was released today and it's not googles algorithm so this is probably a sign. haha
