Was checking out the Fish Creek spot, looks promising, with the wind caves right there for a Sunday hike if anyone's interested in that. I've got some fire wood loaded just in case we end up somewhere with a pit.

Awesome day, everyone!! Thanks for being cool on some of those "scenic routes" It was great to meet everyone, gonna start planning the next one asap!
    Drop your pics below

We began on Puerta La Cruz heading towards Indian Flats, where I conquered my first water crossing ever - all 3 inches of near dried up creek
    1.jpg
    2.jpg

We then headed towards Grapevine Canyon, where right at the beginning we encountered one of our toughest technical spots of the whole trip...threading the needle diagonally past power line workers with inches to spare on either side
    3.jpg

After that it was relatively smooth sailing into Borrego Springs

After a few questionable offshoots we made it to our goal - the metal sculptures in Borrego Springs! Side note, one of my favorite quotes from the trip is when I got out to check the dried creek bed crossing and heard "we got winches, we got snacks" on the radio like some of ya'll wanted to recover someone sooner or later

Why is my truck so small compared to everyone else...

I took this one on the way out of Anza... I hope the guys camping in Fish Creek really batten down the hatches if this is a sign of the weather overnight/tomorrow :drunk:

I know some of you guys got way better pics than these few, so post 'em up!

Looks like a nice scenic drive.

Sorry for the no show/no call on this one. Some stuff came up that I couldn't get away from, catch everybody next time.

@Samus , I had a great time and leading 16 rigs for your first organized run, it was a really good turnout. My dash cam footage won't be edited until next weekend, but I'll get it uploaded and posted here. @TacoPharm ,thanks for the photos! It's nice to have another photog along so I can get photos too. :D :hattip: I'm usually the one photographing everyone else.
