Guys I’ve read alot of different items on here about gear oils but can’t find what I’m looking for. Is it ok to drain your diffs and transfer case and start using a synthetic gear oil, or is this not recommended????

I believe so, I am filling my transfer case and front Diff with synthetic oil today.

My yota dealership sold me 75w90 synthetic in bulk for $12.95 a litre.

I thought I was purchasing Dino oil but looked at the invoice when I got home.

I visited the dealership to get all new crush washers and gaskets

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I chimes in.
