I cannot find a TRD off road on a lot with this feature. Can it be added later or do I need to insist on it up front? Thanks Guys

To my understanding its a factory installed option but would love to know for certain.
I have never had that feature but wonder how useful it is for someone who does go offroad much.

Multi-terrain Monitor is only included with the Advanced Technology Package that is part of the following packages:
    -Premium Audio w/Dynamic Navigation w/Options (MSRP $4085)
    -TRD Premium Off-Road Package w/Options (MSRP $6440)
    -TRD Premium Off-Road Package w/Options (MSRP $7090)

If you want the MTM, find a vehicle that has one of these packages. (Hint: it will not be the cheapest Tacoma on the lot). Most new vehicle and dealer listings will display the VIN# of the vehicle for sale. You can look it up here to determine what packages that specific vehicle has: https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification

I am in the market for a 2020 myself but ultimately decided that the benefits of MTM do not outweigh the cost but thats just my 2 cents.

All Tacoma's ever built have Multi-terrain Monitoring factory. It's an add on, it's called a Spotter. They can be cheap. Offer beer. Or candy. Finding a good one can be tough but one you can teach is indispensable.

Just add a front cam and a switched rear cam. All in like 60-80 bucks. What I did

    Thanks for the link @AusRunner!
As to the OPs question, I had originally wanted this feature, but was also not seeing any locally that were equipped as I desired and had mtm. I just skipped it, and I’m not unhappy about it at all.
