Hi Everyone. I've read several forum posts and reviews on tonneau covers, and I wanted to start this thread to ask for specific advice. I have a 2020 TRD Offroad 5' bed and need to equip it with a tonneau cover. I have two requirements.

    1. I want to attach the cover to the existing rail system without needing to relocate the existing rail system (like the BakFlip).

    2. I don't want to attach weather seal to the bedrails/bulkhead (like the Lomax) because I will have the cover off the truck more often than on and I don't want the weather seal exposed to the elements.

    3. I would like either a hard or soft trifold cover (versus a rollup cover).

I was looking at the Rough Country covers and they seem to fit the bill but I have seen very few reviews on them. Any recommendations that fit the three requirements above would be greatly appreciated!

I just ordered the Lomax from @GotExhaust and the seals would be below the side rail they provide so it would not really be exposed. The bulk head seal you would have to seal that to all covers or caps since Toyota design sucks. I currently own a Extang Solid fold 2.0 and you can possibly attach right to the rails or use the included clamps plates but you still get some leaks not totally water tight.
