Love mine!! You won’t regret it plus I installed an anytime camera up front. I use it everyday and it’s so easy to install! Congrats!

Congrats! Wise move sir. Pro just looks better interior and exterior, not to mention the Fox suspension bits.

Had the same decision. I went with the 2020 off-road. The power seat, CarPlay and led headlights did it for me. Also in 2020 they figured out the transmission. Last thing the pro is only in a short bed. I need a long bed.

    Work in progress...
Good thing you asked, I recommend getting the one you want. Not to be a smart ass, so much, but you are the guy paying for it. 3 years from now what one do you want to wake up and drive to ...wherever? Crap, I guess you went on and bought it...LOL. Congratulations. Glad we had this talk.

They were doing 20% off MSRP on Pro’s 4 months ago in 2019 huh, ok. Also needing a Long bed makes it irrelevant for you anyway so there is nothing to consider.

From what I’ve read on here the tune on the mid year and later 2019 ATs and the 2020s are exactly the same.

Had the same thing buying an '18 at the end of that year and I went with the Pro.

I just did a quick look on the interwebs for a 2019 Pro in my neck of the woods. All of the 2019 Pro’s within 100 miles of me are between $47000 and $50,000. That’s the same price for the 2020 models.
I guess the dealers around me don’t care. They’re just going to be sent back to Toyota soon.

    Great choice!

20% off MSRP has is the absolute best TRD Pro deal that I have seen. MSRP and negotiated price?

If you really like the Pro look, you can always add the Pro bits later as you like ... the OR is basically the same underlying truck as the pro with mostly cosmetic or bolt on/swappable parts!

Cant swap the vin for resale value.

At the end of the day an OR with Pro bits is still an OR model. The resale value of a Pro and OR model are significantly different.

Personally, I’m not particularly interested in resale value, I’m also not rebadging it so I don’t consider that being a poser. Besides as previously mentioned, Toyota doesn’t offer the pro in a longbed anymore (in 2015 they did with an AC) so the point I’m trying to make is that if you like the look of the pro or just certain aspects of it, you can make the changes on your OR to suit your own preferences.
