yes, I have done the mods
I'd be interested in seeing anyone else's solution, too; I want to get an Alu-Cab Shadow and mount it on my Prinsu over my camper shell.

I see that Alu-Cab has what they call a "universal" awning mount bracket package, but they never mention the Prinsu and who knows where any of those holes line up.

I saw over on Expedition Portal how somebody used Frontrunner awning mount brackets with T-Nuts extruded aluminum crossbars, same as on the Prinsu, and the brackets fit the crossbars perfectly. That makes me think the dimensions on the Frontrunner rack frame are the same as Prinsu crossbars. So that seems to imply that the Alu-Cab / Frontrunner mount bracket, at least the rear bracket, will work on a Prinsu rack.

But there's no real way to tell until one of us lays out the cash to try it.
