    Hey everyone!

I am new to this forum, and just bought a new Tacoma a few months back (first Tacoma for me). I want to start getting into customizing it, but really don't know where to start, which is the reason for this post.

For now, I am just looking for aesthetic looks; I want to wait a little longer before I actually start working on it. Does any one have some recommendations of things I can add to it, either interior or exterior? I already did a haul off Tufskinz for the interior accent pieces.

    Thanks everyone!

    Welcome to the forum!

It's your truck! Do what you want to it and don't let a bunch of strangers in the internet decide how to spend your money!

I always suggest remove the chin spoiler and change the tires to "truck tires" It makes a huge difference.

The simple things such as the below first. As far as the more major stuff such as wheels-tires-lifts and such; look over the many photos on this forum to determine the look you want for your Tacoma and go from there.

Does removing the chin spoiler come with any down sides? I've never heard of doing that (then again, I dont know much about customizing, so asking out of curiosity)..

Like the Meso chrome delete to match exterior color. Better map lights, glove compartment organization unit. Hit up Wish, Amazon and eBay. If you like Chrome or Carbon fiber there are adable things out there. Puddle lights are cool. Tray for in center console. TRD shifter adds 0.78 HP.

Thanks, another good mode is the TRD Cat-Back Exhaust. Gives your Tacoma a nice deep tone, gives the illusion of more power (even though it doesn't) and looks good and doesn't have the drone that some aftermarket exhaust cause.

I did a lot of the common ones and they made a big difference - many pictured in this thread ^^^^^

    OEM Bed liner
    Meso Customs Gashole
    All weather floormats
    Glovebox organizer
    Center console divider
    TRD Pro shift knob
    Tonneau cover (Gator EFX)
Pro Grille w/ raptor lights (don't buy the garnish from Runnin4Tacos it's hit and miss)

Claybar it and wax it with a high quality wax, and get some glass rain treatment either the Griots Garage stuff or maybe a professional install of Glassparency.
