    So don't get me wrong, I love my truck. But damn, my biggest complaint is not being to be able to see where I'm going when off roading. That nose is so long it blocks my view when climbing even the slightest hill. All I can see is sky!
    Am I the only one?

    If you pop the hood, you'll see a lot of open space. As I understand it, this is for required pedestrian crash safety. Not Toyota's idea... blame your Gov't.

    It's easy enough to install a camera up front.
    But I get it...I've rolled down some boulders that scared the shit out of me because I didnt realize the drop was that steep

    Also, I'm 6'2

    Add that front camera, you'll love it. One reason I didn't get a Sport (not saying you did), the scoop just added even more of an obstruction, though it does look good.

    I actually did once. It was a used 1989 Toyota truck. I "wanted to make sure 4wd worked" and took the sales guy to a spot, got it muddy as hell, and returned. I was 20 years old and had no intention of buying it. :)

    Anyway, this was a pointless thread because that front end is not going away. Best solution sounds like a camera. Just seems like a poor design for a serious off road vehicle.
