This was my son’s first year to play peewee basketball, along with most of his teammates too. Their post season started (and finished) today with a single elimination tournament. He made the game winning shot with 4 seconds left in their first game! He and his teammates were some super excited boys! They didn’t win the second game, but he still had, in his words, “my best basketball day ever”! My daughters first year of school affiliated basketball also ended earlier in the week. They are both learning the lessons of how important it is to put in the work, and to practice like you play. It’s off season training time for my daughter, and time for baseball for my son. They are both excited for next season, really proud of both of them!

Nice. Sports doesn't fit into our schedule this year, but next year definitely cross country and track, maybe ski team on weekends.

Any of those things, and the ones you are already doing with them, will be things they can take with them throughout life. It’s amazing to me all options that are available for different activities and interests.

212 days, which is 5088 hours. This is the amount of time that has passed since my daughter was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She had her PET scan and CT scan this past Friday. Today we went in for the results and there is absolutely no cancer activity left. :amen:

Took the kids on their first fishing trip. Was just at the pond at our house. Stocked it 3 years ago when we first moved in. Finally getting big enough to catch and release. They had a blast. Brother is getting into photography and took the pics. Had to lower the quality to meet the 20MB limit.
