Battery tools are great. You just need extra batteries.

Of course, but I prefer to treat the symptom, not the cause.

BTW, the Internet is not the place for logic and reality, please step away from the keyboard.

I'm actually looking at battery powered framing and trim nailers. I get sick of hauling around the air compressor and the hoses for it when we're working on houses. Will most likely get the Milwaukee Fuel one if I can catch it on sale.

I use the 7/16 chuck for drilling and framing poles and the 1/4 for smaller pole hardware.

just got the 1/4" impact replaced after a coworker burnt it up

there little hackzall has been the one of the most useful items when we are out, small light and compact, gets into so many places. I think that has been the most borrowed tool On the truck. paired with a diablo carbide blade makes for a easy cutting

i was skeptical on the drill and hammer drills, but after extensively using them, they are great, yes they need batteries but having one on charger and one in the drill works great! I recently got a brad nailer and it works good, its obviously not as fast as an air driver. But it works. I tossed my craftsman air nailer as i couldnt find brads that would feed right. The new air nailer has no issues feeding.

They make great tools. They aren't cheap but we beat the heck out of them and they hold up well. Only issue we've had and it's an issue with must of the wrenchless chucks is that the chuck's tend to loosen after time and don't stayed fully gripped.

Ya I hate dealing with all the air, you're right the time to next nail is faster on air but I'm not in a huge hurry most of the time so the benefits far outweigh it for me. Now it's just finding it on sale since the thing is so expensive. We have been using the Harbor Freight nailers, just had to buy a new one a couple months ago. I'm hoping to see the Fuel on sale in the next few months and then we will pounce on it.

At times I've wished that they made adapters but that doesn't make sense for the people making the tools. :)

Lol. No kidding. I’d love that. I have a couple M18 tools but more Rigid. I wish I could interchange between them

Ya my friend is like that he has all ryobi stuff because he started out that way. I have Porter Cable for my personal home stuff, it just wouldn't hold up long term to the abuse we put them through when working on houses though. We killed 2 sawzalls within like 2-3 weeks when we started doing this stuff and said screw it and went and bought Milwaukee. We haven't killed any of those yet, though my business partner has killed some running his plumbing business. Water in pipes and sawzalls cutting those pipes don't go well, to their credit though he has been able to take them in and have them rebuilt. :)
