I can only find one thread that is specific to using OME coils to level out, and its from 2010. All i can find when i search ome is a full lift kit threads. Nothing really answering what I am trying to figure out.

I am wanting to level out my taco and I was thinking springs would ride better than setting some 5100s up a notch. The rear of my truck sits ~2.25" higher than the front so I though some 880 coils on the 0 setting on 5100s would level me out.

    Specs are 04 DCSB V6 4x4.

    Any input?

Did you do any before and after ground to fender measurements? my rear is already sitting at 36.5" and my fronts are 34.25". Ive exhausted that OME on 1st gen thread and i cant find anything about using coils/5100s on the front.

5100s set to 2.5" on stock coils is the same thing as set to 0 with 2" coils right? Im worried my fronts are saggy and the coils will lift greater than 2.5". I ended up PMing wheelers off-road to see if they would give some advice.

I did but can remember at this time i can measure were she sits now if that would help u . At got the set up from wheelers great customer service originally i got top spacers that give me the xtra 1 inch of lift the i took then off after installing my jba's uca's . I have icon 3 leaf aal in the back which give me about 1 1/2 inc lift rides nice . So your rig is all stock right now ?
you can go 881' an 5100's on 2 nd notch its ride firm not stiff imo .

if you could measure the front from ground to fender that would help me! and yes sir, im all stock suspension wise as far as i know. Not sure why my rear seems to sit higher than other stock tacos. im hoping 881s set on 0 will give enough front height to just level without touching the rear suspension

    thanks for replying.

I didn't gain anything installing OMU 880 coils.

I've since gone back to factory with 1.75 spacers on top of the top hat.

I like the 1.5" I gained and I like the ride.

Did you happen to get measurements for before & after the lift?

Thanks for the info. I hoping to stay away from spacers though. Not knocking that its effective, I would just prefer replacing this stock suspension components
