Thanks! I definitely didn't cover enough of the truck and it was a pita trying to get the overspray off. I'm hoping to keep an added wax coat will help it endure.

If I have the date codes right, the Lantern is from May 1971, Backpack Stove is from Oct 1973, and the Dual Burner Stove is from Aug 1974. Match made in Heaven.

I don’t have either right now but from what I remember the weathertech was more dense or firm. I can’t remember if the texture was the same. I have had them in a Chevy 1500HD, GMC 2500 HD, and Jeep JKU. They worked well for what I was doing at the time. Right now I have some rubber mats that are trimmed in red from eBay. They were about $90. Lower profile and they have a Tacoma logo in them. Sorry I could not be more help.

They’ve got some new stuff out called hyperdip that’s supposed to be even stronger than the original stuff. Haven’t tried it myself yet though. But I will if I ever have to redo my badges

What model camera is that? And the power adapter / cord. My garmin 45 wouldn't work from a regular mini USB, I had to use their proprietary power cord. :(

It’s the 45, the adaptor is one that I found on here from Dongar Technologies and just a cheap micro usb cable. Powered mine up like normal. Hopefully it charges it fine, I’ll let you know tomorrow after I drive a little.

The kit from OffGrid comes complete with their welded aluminum trays, mounts, blue sea auto switching relay, fuses and wires. Pretty legit and way overbuilt... I got it for a deal used on Craigslist, but wouldn’t hesitate to pay for it new.

I believe they sell the battery trays individually as well.

The edges on mine are warped. I tried to straighten them with a hair dryer. Didn’t work. Went with Husky. They come with anchors for the passenger mat. Now it doesn’t move. Kept the OEM back mats, nothing wrong with them.

Swapped out the factory garbage battery with this X2 Power 27f agm and added an Off Grid Engineering battery tie down since the factory one was not exactly the best fit for this battery. I've been an XS Power guy for years but figured I'd give X2 a try for that sweet 5 year warranty. I honestly think group 27 is the best size for this space as the 31's are just a bit too close to the oil filler cap.

Also installed some Matt Gecko hood lights on a switch so they turn on when I open the hood. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite mods!

I asked opinions on the Husky vs. WTs a couple of weeks ago in this forum. Husky won. I have WTs in another car. I think you can’t go wrong with either.

I think it's spot on the dates. I graduated in 74, Got my Eagle Scout and we were using those stoves then. Amazing. Thanks for sharing that. I appreciate it a great deal.

I grew up car camping with all of those! I have slightly newer versions in my current kit. Slightly newer still being 35 years old. I think my Dad still has all that gear from my childhood. Thanks for sharing.
