My Falken Wildpeaks have 3 unfinished sidewall treads

How else do they make some letters white? What about those tires with the white walls?

 

Those are not vinyl decals.

 

I know lol we were giving ridiculous reasons as to why the tires were like that so then I just made em even more ridiculous lol

Wow, took 38 posts before the correct answer. Noise control is correct answer so you don't sound like you are flying super swampers down the road.

 

But 3 guys complained about balancing issues, it must be that! /s

Joking aside, cool to learn something new.

 

Did not read the whole thread - so this may have been already stated .... The tire Mold probably has a replaceable insert in the mold so they can change the text when they need to .... Also, they filled in the area so they could put the text there .... I doubt it's for balance fix.
