New Mexico 2wd

Hey there. I'm new to the forums but have had my '96 Taco for some years now, did a few mods right when I bought it back in 2002.

Truth is, I was disappointed when I got it with how limited the 2wd non-prerunners are. I wanted to lift it (easy with the older torsion bars), put a locker of some sort on it and maybe change the gearing for 15" tires.

But I did finally find some coils and got some (pretty crappy) leaf lifters+ shocks from Downey on the back. Some 15" wheels and tires finally got me the ground clearance any real truck should have. Not 100% happy with the rear end or suspension, but it's there, more or less.

Now I'm trying to get a cruise control in it. I'll go over to the appropriate forum (1st gen?) to ask.
