I got frustrated enough trying to build that fixture and press the hub out in my cold garage, don't feel the need to get into it on this thread. Especially after a nice, calming, much needed yoga session.

I'll continue to post my trails and tribulations, as I feel the weak point is my fixture and not the press.

I'll try not to shoot spindles across the garage or into myself.

1. Hopefully we can use it to get back on the right foot (again)

The chirps from the know it alls is what is old. The fact that it's ALWAYS about what they would have done, or that is wrong, or you shouldn't do it that way. It's almost as if they think everyone should have the same truck as they do... and heaven fucking forbid if anyone gets put of line and questions their authority.

Hmmmm... let's see, what did I do to the Tacoma today... I put the key in, started the engine and put it in the driveway for the day. No, actually I'm being a lazy azz and am trying to secure an ARB jerrycan holder/tray onto the roof rack without removing the rack first.

Epic fail so far.

 

I'm not sure which question is more relevant - how they got onto the side of a mountain or how you're getting them down?

 

They do whatever it takes to get to where they need to go, but always seem to need help getting back in Situations like this.

We got my buddy down to them and brought them up one at a time, and then pulled said friend back to the up.

I did essentially the same thing... Just drove my mall crawler back and forth to work... even more miles beyond my scheduled oil change... and laundry list of other maintenance items being pushed off due to wedding projects for my daughter's wedding.


Scavanger hunts for spray paint to match artificial flowers.


Huffing glitter paint (centerpieces... that's about half of them)

Painting table numbers, frames, etc etc...







Making geometric figurines... that bend space/time... to stand behind the alter for some reason I'm not sure of.

i think it was only for 2nd gens. If it were for first, it would have to include the spindle (2WD / 4wd, abs, non-abs, gussetted........)

 

yup only 2nd gens. i just did the bearing in the tundra a few months ago. 2 plates on the bolts for the dust shield and a 20 ton press had er out in a jiffy (same spindle as 1st gen tacos)
