    Hey everyone,

I am a pretty tall guy close to 6'5" and I test drove a 2019 TRD OR without the sunroof and fit fine. However the dealer also had a 2020 with the new powered seat but it had a sun roof and I did not fit comfortably but I was unable to tell if it was just the lost ceiling from the the sunroof or if the electric seat means I lose an inch or two as well?

    Thanks!

    Welcome!

I can only reference my knowledge of sitting in two different 2018's (one with sunroof, one without, neither with power seat...obviously).

The space-limiting factor is definitely coming from the sunroof. My head dang near hit the ceiling in the sunroof model, and there was no difference in the seats besides material.

100% the sunroof. I fit better in the new electrics, especially being 6'3.

It's a price jump but the seating for taller people is a big deal, you'll read a lot of people complaining about the 16-19's lack of adjustability.

Do not buy a model with a sunroof, thats for certain.

I'm 6'2" and sat in one that had a moon roof at my local dealer and my head hit the headliner. So I had to look elsewhere for one with no moonroof.

Agree, test drove with sunroof, bought without. The electric seat with more adjustments and the non sunroof would be nice

Thanks for the help guys. I'd rather spend the extra money to get one ill be more comfortable in. Plus not having to swap the head unit to add Android Auto sounds nice too. I will see if I can find one without a sunroof to buy near me.

Yeah I sat in a 20 Limited with sunroof and powered seats. No room. Curious to see how one without sunroof and powered seats is. I'm 6'3.

Is it a significant difference height wise with the powered seat?

No sunroof plus the power seat should give you a ton of room. Someone on here found the measurements of additional movement, so you could work off of that too. Sorry I dont remember the numbers, though!

It goes a little bit lower, iirc. It may not seem like a lot but the perception is much greater. Kinda like when someone moves your seat or seatback just one click and you know something ain't right but you're not really sure what...
