I have an 2007 Tacoma 4dr. I have been thinking about selling it and go to a 4Runner next.

I would like a 4Runner Pro, TRD or limited. Are they all about the same?

Is there anything I should look for or be wary of?

    Or keep what I have?

That’s a tough one; If your Taco has nothing else wrong with it, I’d saying fixing the Taco is more economically feasible...

If you really have your heart set on the T4R and can afford it, then it might be time for a change. A T4R Pro is a badass ride!

Thanks. The purchase of the Pro did not go well and I can't find a T4R or Tacoma I like with the money i have to spend. I guess I will repair and keep the 07'.

Keeping what you have is a great option. I have an 05 Tacoma in great mechanical condition but recently added a new 19 4Runner Off-Road since I now have a wife and child. In hindsight, we could have gotten by with just the truck for quite a while longer, and I am not enjoying the car payment and increased insurance. My wife and I do love the 4Runner, just not the expense.

That said, if you must get a new/newer 4Runner, I would recommend getting an Offroad with KDSS over the TRD PRO. I prefer the KDSS over the TRD Pro suspension, and when I was shopping, the Offroad was significantly less expensive.

I will be keeping the Tacoma for now. Between money going here and there and that I might have to pay for parking at work, I am better off staying where I am.
    Thanks for the opinions.

agree with the comment about Off road vs PRO------ kdds is great off road and good on road, but the PRO is big $'s and really a beast off road
