    Guys, what’s the best stock front brake pad out there? Truck is a 2015 TRD Off Road DC 4x2 V6 running Toyo open Country A/Ts (LT265/75/16), G rated version. Stock 6 lug rims. Toyota shows OEM replacement is the
    $169 PTR09-89111 Toyota Genuine Parts - TRD Tacom Brake Pads (PTR09-89111)
    PTR09-89111. I’ve not been unhappy with the original set other than being a bit dusty which is not a deal breaker. Yes I know you can upgrade with a mod but I don’t work on brakes so I’d guess that’d cost me a bunch of bucks. Are there better options than OEM?

    Bill, I’m certainly not opposed to the OEM. OEM cost is moderate ($80-$90 range) and they’ve done a good job. I’m just testing the waters to see if there’s a better solution. That’s why I always try to research and buy in advance.
