for shit/grins i called Dealership about TPMS.

i have the flashing TPMS light. one or more of my sensor batteries finally failed on my 2006 truck. 14 years is not bad!! great almost. while i am actually getting used to the flashing warning light, i simply dont like failed things. i'll get them swapped out, or whatever they do. for fun, i called the local Toyota shop. first he noted quite diligently that his records show i am due for the INJECTOR CLEANING service for $400. i asked if that is the service that takes the injectors out for cleaning, or they pour a can of something into my gas-tank. it was the can of stuff..hahhahah.. i was now super anxious for the quote for 5 sensors. he sounded awkward on the phone..then he said, "wow, those are $250 each..you need five?" i was shell-shocked. DAMN!

my local tire shop is doing them tomorrow for $60 each.

 

I'm shocked he told you it was pouring injector cleaner into the gas tank without hanging up in shame before he could finish his sentence.

 

haha. and here's witchhunter only charging $23 an injector.
