I have a Yeti sticker on my window. Man will a thief be mad if they steal my coffee cup or cooler and realize it’s not a Yeti. Don’t even own anything Yeti.

Yeah, weapons are money. Keep them on your person, not in your car.

My '12 won't while running but will when not.

2nd gens lost a lot of convenience features thru their run. Passenger side door key lock, door key operated windows, and by 2015, no clock below the radio, to name a few.

If they steal your garage door remote & registration they can use them to break in to your home later. Reprogram your opener immediately!

Truth, either for someone to damage your truck and/or police attention. Sadly in Boston I have heard of people getting their window smashed for having a NY Yankees sticker.

All these bad asses saying they have a gun and will shoot someone breaking into your truck. Civil court will have a field day with you cause your life is not in any danger. I am well trained with firearms in and out of combat zones, and people think pulling a trigger and taking a life is easy, it’s not. Nothing in your vehicle is worth the cost of a human life and every civil court will come to the same conclusion(I am not talking criminal court that’s a whole different ball game). So get good insurance and that will take care of you.

I hate thieves. I'm sorry your truck was violated.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to deter determined thieves. If they want to get in your truck, they'll get into your truck. Make it too difficult for them and they'll only damage the truck more in the process. So you really have to ask yourself if you are OK losing a few things or you want to lose minor things and having to make an insurance claim for serious damage.

Both of these^. Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle and nothing, including your vehicle is worth a life.

I guess I should count myself lucky. I like most of those features. And I really like my clock. I feel like I've said this a lot on these forums, but WTF Toyota?
