    None so far
Can anyone link me to a write up?
I’m trying to turn my side marker on the headlight into part of the turn signal.
Is it essentially splicing the turn signal wires into the side marker lights?

    Essentially, No.
They are 2 circuits you want to join.
If you eliminate one, Parking circuit, then you loose the parking illumination on the side marker. As in when headlights are ON, DTRL are OFF. And DTRL circuit is also the TURN circuit.
If you tie both circuits without any device to prevent feedback...just don't.

Why do people insist on chopping up and modifying perfectly good wire harnesses. Just asking for trouble down the road.

12v always on power point mod, tailgate anti-theft, Addl bed tiedowns, flyzeye dash lights, map lites with dome lite mod, bed stiffeners, air bags, brake controller, always on fog lights,
There was a write-up on here somewhere that explained how to do this and I tried it. It worked good until I realized that I was getting power through the DRL circuit to my interior dash lights so they looked like they were always on, just real dim. I disconnected them and restored them to the original configuration.
