"If this were to occur, warning lights and messages may be displayed on the instrument panel," the company said. "If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash."

This is EXACTLY what happened to me in my 2019 Tacoma. I was nearly smashed on I-44 in heavy traffic in St Louis.

I spent 2 weeks arguing with Toyota, who made excuses, and claims that my vehicle was perfectly fine.

I couldn’t risk driving my 1 and 3 year old in a vehicle I was certain was a rolling death trap, so I just traded it back into the dealership I bought it from, and lost $3000.

A month later they release a recall?
They were arguing that my truck was fine? I should feel confident about loading my family into it?

    OMG!!!!!!!!
On another note, if a vehicle stalling while underway results in it being a "rolling death trap" for you, I'd recommend walking>driving. There are other things that could lead to an engine stall, its just not worth the risk...
