Anyone been running the Brite Box Fogster and/or the Bulbzilla for 3rd gen Tacoma? Thoughts, reviews, violent objections?

I am using the Fogster kit. I like having fog lights on all the time.

I ordered one. It should add to the output . My Diode Dynamics SAE Fogs and new Hikari Ultras should work well when it's all on.

I think if they hook up in the stock location and plugs you get the stock fog model

There’s no real reason to have the fog lights stay on with the high beams. The high beams do a good job at illuminating the sides of the road, almost as good as the fogs, and at speed where you’d need high beams you don’t need the near field light fogs provide.

h9 bulbs in the fog housing creates a ton of glare. In conditions where you’d actually want to use fog lights (fog, driving snow and rain) the lack of glare shield creates blinding glare reflecting off the fog and precipitation. I know because I tried it.

h9 bulbs in the low beams is a great upgrade, but the best tested Phillips H9 bulbs are $8 each on Amazon and only require a little trimming to the tabs and connector to fit the stock harness. There’s no need to buy a $25 adapter harness.

I agree with you on the H9 bulbs in the low beams, it’s a great upgrade. However there have been many times offroading at night where I wished I could’ve had the wide, close-in illumination of my fog lights along with distance from the highbeams. I’m considering this kit as well so I don’t have to constantly flip between the two.

ok sure, but wouldn’t a set of ditch lights be better for that situation?

I just installed my brightbox fogster on my 2020 trd pro. Make sure you tell them you have a pro when buying so they can give you the harness adapter. Now my fogs stay on even on highbeams. The only thing i noticed is, even if you turn off your fog lights they will still light up on high beam.

Catch fire? If so, they must have some messed up resistors or something.

Does anyone know if the auto-high beam still works with the brite box installed?

Does anyone know if the H11 smart 3 color LED bulbs from Tacoma Beast work with the Bright Box Fogster?
