USB EXTENSION part #

    I have bought two different usb extensions for my Kenwood and neither would connect to the back of my oem USB port.. I’ve ordered pac usbty1 and the metra usb toy2 that others have recommended and Crutchfield says would be compatible with the truck. Anybody else had an issue? The 4 pin fitting is completely different than the back of my usb.

    That’s because it doesn’t plug into the back of the USB port at the switch panel. It plugs into the usb cord that you unplugged from the back of the factory radio.

    And by USB cord I mean square-ish grey connector if I remember correctly
