2016 V6 Tacoma Misfire / Rough Idle / Plug Foul / Code P219A

Hello Tacoma World,

This is my 1st post, but not my 1st visit. This a great site and source of information.

I'm wondering how many other 2016 owners if any are having or have had the same problems I am dealing with now with my truck.

Thursday she started to feel like she had a bad misfire on idle. RPM's would bounce between 500 to 700. She would sort of settle just below 1k RPM if i shifted to N. Needed still bounced a bit.

Friday the check engine light came on, and the TRAC OFF light would only light up when I was driving below 30mph.

Saturday, I had the plugs changed. This did not fix the issue. I was told the cylinder three plug was super dirty compared to the other 5 plugs.

Jump to Wednesday morning when I brought her to my local Toyota Dealer/Service Dept. They too told me the plug was 5 days old.

Today, Thursday I was told that my truck has been sent to their Master Tech and that he has another Tac parked next to mine with the same problems.

I'm trying to gauge how big of an issue this is or can expect it to become, and how other have dealt with it, and what I should look out for or expect from this point forward.
