Hello all. I have a 2019 sport looking at switching out the stock grill. Yes I am a bandwagon ridin as$hat.

My question is will the slightly cheaper 2020 pro grill fit a 2019?. I can find the 2020 pro grill for about 100$ less then the 17/18 pro grill. I realize the 2020 has a cam but everything else switch over?

    thanks,

As someone else who is also that guy, OEM is truly a waste of money. They are massively artificially inflating the price.

Ok I appreciate that. But what if the 2020 oem grill was only 206$ shipped. No garnish though. Doesn’t seem to be to inflated

Where are you finding the 2020 grill? I'd like to see and compare too if you don't mind.

Yeah I have a 19 with TSS so I do need the garnish. I was just comparing the pricing of the 2 grills.

I have both, OEM pro grill $207 and the OEM garnish $40 prior to the price hike. I got one from freshmexicantaco who has the best non OEM grill. Yes there is a difference in the finish and after comparing them both the quality is a little bit better than the fake grill but the only real importance was the finish. You will be fine with both and I'm that guy to on a lot of things but I assure you either is fine.

OEM grille finish is satin black with a slight texture. Was able to match it pretty well to black out the letters.

FYI, I found a good deal on an OEM and went with that. In retrospect, I would have gone with The Taco Garage since black letters are a standard option. The OEM black is also a slightly darker tone than the lower grille insert, but not something you notice unless you are really OCD.
