Just replaced struts and shocks with Billstein 5100s last night. Set the struts at 2.5” and still sitting stock height in the rear. I have a 1” blocks I plan to install tonight, my goal right now is reach a level stance. I’m aware of better options in the rear for performance, but for the price point, it’s the best option for me at the moment. Will most likely upgrade full leaf packs down the road. That being said, will the 1 inch block give me a level enough stance for a good visual? I’m riding on 265/75 KO2s.

    Thanks for any feedback!

I've done that exact lift on the two Tacomas in my sig. I needed a 1 1/2" block in the back to make it level. On my first attempt I used a 1" and it sat too low.

I'd go with a 1.5" block or a 1.5"-2" add-a-leaf. I did a 2"HS coil spring with 5100s up front and 1"block out back. It sits a little lower in back than I would like. Going to replace with Wheeler's 3-leaf AAL in the near future.

1.5 seems to be just right, I’ve got it ordered and will postpone adding the block till I receive it next week. I would love to do an AAL or even a full leaf pack upgrade to handle loads better, but the block is the easiest option till I can spare the expense. I have exactly 2” difference between the front and rear height. I’ll post the final product when finished

I would highly suggest just paying a little more to look into a wheeler's progressive 3-leaf pack versus blocks. You will increase the longevity of the OEM pack, more weight capacity, and lessen chances of axle wrap.

I agree with the others about a 1.5" block. I am running 5100s at 1.75 and a 1" block and my rear only sits half an inch lower up front than my rear. Im debating replacing mine with a 1.5".
