    Hello,

I'm trying to wire a replacement dome light for a roughly 2008 Tacoma Snugtop Camper Shell. The old one stopped working. The wiring in the roof of the topper has four wires. Red, black and two white. The replacement light has only three wires. Red, black and yellow. The original light had a door switch position and so does the replacement. The new light works just fine when connected to the Red and black wires in the on position, but I can't figure out how to get the door switch to work. I've tried about ever combination of wiring I can think of. Does anyone know how to wire this correctly so its safe and all switch positions work correctly? Or is it even possible with this replacement light? Thanks for the help. This forum helped me fix the compass and temp display and I really appreciate it. Pics below. Nate.

Since you have ID'd the power and ground, you'll need to ID which white wire is ground when the Tailgate is open. That white wire goes to the yellow of your new LED lamp.
