South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Headed for a ride in the mountains in a couple hours. Needed break.

 

I need to get out and do some trail riding soon. This weekend will be cleanup from all the wind and rain, though.

 

Fixing to head out from here. Old 105 then we will see where we go.

 

Drove a co-workers 2019 Raptor this morning. It’s a cool truck, but not $70,000 cool. I expected it to have way more power. The turbo v6 feels like it doesn’t have much low end power at all

 

For 70k I think I like the F-350 6.7l turbo diesel option.

 

It's only 2wd, but I feel like with the winch and the steel front bumper pre-installed, it would be okay.

That's where I was headed up until about 8am, then my plans changed to finish up some stuff I needed done around the house.

 

What is old 105 road, never heard of it.

Old 105. Nice ride. Great views.

 

It will go nowhere fast (60mph without over revving the 6.9, likely geared 4.10-4.56 in the rear) but it’ll pull anything you connect it too.
Wheel lift has tilt, that’s not always present on that body.

I operated one just like that, same body and boom setup, very reliable and tough.
Your insurance company will hate you....

Yep. Then back home and primed some sliders.

 

Nice! I picked mine up Friday morning, 3 coats of primer. 3 coats of black. Then installed them by 3:00 lol.
