    Slander, I totally agree and that is exactly what I am doing. I think I will love my new Taco once I get her to where she needs to be. This truck is an all original 2 owner truck, I am the 3rd. The interior is mint, no tears in seats or anything. I am going to nurse her back to good health. Thanks for the feedback all.

    That's good news, but 10 years is a long long time for something like that. Sounds like you got a good truck overall, but spend some quality time under the entire frame inspecting for other similar issues.

    Blacked out badges-rims OME lift with 881's & dakar pacs, summer tires=BFG 31x10.5x15 on 93 4runner rims,winter= 265 75 16 DURATRACS on stock steelies,Flowmaster exhaust, deck plate mod, ARB front bumper
    Once you scrape, poke and check out the frame you will know how bad it is.

    I am not a believer in the Toyota corrosive coating on the frames. I think once it starts to let go a little bit it just holds moisture and salt and makes things worse.
