Ok, a little confused. My '17 Tacoma has the OEM Go Pro mount already on the windshield. I have the plug and play harness bookmarked for when they become availableguess again. So what I need to know is will the existing Go Pro mount work with the Rexing camera or do I need an adapter? And how does the rear camera mount and where and does that require a wiring harness too.
Totally ignorant about this whole camera set up. Am I missing anything? Any advice or instructions that I should be aware of?

You fine fellas know the thread size/ pattern of the 3gens seat bolts? Need to run a tap down one of the holes that won’t go in properly. Thanks

How is the One Up bike rack compared to the Yakima? I'm installing cargo rack mount soon and a bike rack is my next addition.

With the tailgate down its not a problem. I definitely wouldn't leave the tailgate up when fired up. I'm also working on a design for a removable aluminum plate surface with a 90 deg. bend or lip that will cover the top edge of the tailgate. The plate will mount flush to the tailgate during transit. My Harbour Freight work platform/stool is already mounted there using two threaded rivet nuts and two threaded knobs. Just a matter of putting the alum. plate on first and then mounting the stool and plate to the tailgate with the threaded knobs.

A friend and I put on 3inch lift and new wheel/tires on my truck yesterday. I just love the aggressive stance.

I don’t know about using the stock gopro mount as I don’t have one. As far as rear cam goes, mine came with one and all needed hardware. Both front and rear come with double sided tape to adhere to any windows. The only harness you need to get for the cam is if you want to power it by something other then the cig outlet (which it comes with). The other options to power it is with a fuse tap or through the mirror.

If that makes sense and answers your questions...

I'm not sure which mount for that particular camera but there's bound to be something in this kit to use and its pretty inexpensive...

I’ve had Yakima, Thule and a bunch of Allens/other brands and IMHO the 1Up is the best. The reason I like it is because there is no plastic sans the small knob on the lever. I had the tailgate rack but forgot they made roof racks too till a kind TW member reminded me of it.

    No.

    It’s a t- type mount.

That’s why you need an adapter to use a gopro style mount.
