Unfortunately, I do not know anyone that is selling a CBI bed rack.

 

Been a STH for I think 8 years. We didn't renew this season...tired of the FO. We'll probably do a mini pack or something because we do enjoy going to the games.

 

WTF...did they unbolt it or did you have it removed or something?

Went out to moab for the weekend. We first visited a geyser out of green river (not crystal), It is some 12mi off of Airport Road. Didn't get lucky to see it erupt. We did find various trails that eventually led us down to the green river.

We then got off at the Floy exit and went to White Wash sand dunes. Played around the dunes for a bit and then followed various trails back to the 191. We stayed at our favorite hotel (Red Stone) Friday and Saturday.


Saturday we headed out to chicken corners. I have been slowly crossing trails off in our Moab book and I haven't been to Chicken Corners yet. Best to see it during the day. It is basically right across the river from the Thelma and Louise Point off of Potash Road.






After we got back to town, we then decided to head up to a mining camp near Dewy Bridge. I don't have any pics, but there are a bunch of trails up in this area that are pretty fun.

 

Anything exciting about chicken corners or is it all about the views?

 

All about the views.. But that is pretty much all of Moab...

Do you choose to stay in the hotel for the convenience of it? I'm asking because I'm not sure if there is a lot of places to camp? Last time i went, we stayed in the La Salle National Forest, which was nice, but it's a long ways from the majority of the trials.

 

Yea, the wife needed wifi access to work on a grad school project. There are plenty of places to camp depending upon what you want to do. There are three new blm camp grounds off of the road that goes to Kane Creek. They have pit toilets and water. Or you can find any previously established site on BLM land and camp.

Oh, I have a trailer project knocking around my head, and I would need a tacoma bed for it.

 

I don't get why people dislike daylight savings time. Disrupts us for like a week while we get used to it in the spring, and the whole time it's in effect, gives us an hour of usable after-work daylight to go ride mountain bikes, hunt cougars, whatever. There's literally no downside.

 

The downside ^

 

I hate it getting dark at 530 all winter

 

I hate it staying light until 10 at night during the summer when trying to get the kids in bed.
