Nice plastic, hate to say it but seems better than OEM black chrome. No need for outside trim plate, very black. Hardest part was taking the old grill out. I do not have the sensor in front so mine came out real easy, it was just messing with the tabs and then taking out the screws for the trim plate. Each letter in the Toyota is screwed in. Wasn't sure what to think about the screws, but makes it easier to customize the letter colors if that is your thing, I like my grill like my coffee.........black.

At first when I saw the black and the sport wheels I was a bit set off, now I need the pro wheels. But every time I return to my vehicle from somewhere and see the grill I instantly think, "Wow, so much better."

I agree, it does look great on your truck. I've watched a few vids on replacing the grill and will probably upgrade mine as you did. Mine is a 2019 so I'll need the garnish and will have to deal with the RADAR sensor but it looks easy enough to do. Thanks for the response.

The taco garage grill (I can’t confirm) is better than stock. I have a pro in front of my desk on the show room and if you push on the grill it seems flimsy compared to aftermarket. I can be wrong but there grill is top notch either way. Only problem I had is one tab did not seat well (maybe me). but it does not matter and it looks good. Fits flush and everyone that Asks I tell them where to go.
