It's less Tacoma and more mod
Check the molded markings on the box to see what plastic it is made of first. Low energy plastics like polypropylene and polyethylene don't bond worth a crap with most off the shelf expoxies and plastic bonding compounds. But polycarbonates, and polyacrylamide does bond well with most plastic adhesives. Just saying this to help you choose the right epoxy.

Fender skirts count for a lot :notsure:

I have a feeling that mine has been cracked for a while and finally broke completely. But who knows.

Good to know. I guess I'll let several thousand others be BETA testers and see what they come up with. There's also Deaver and those leafs with the number and letter name, something like J71 or whatever so...I have options

After pricing new ones, I fixed mine. I drilled holes in both parts and stitched it together with wire. I then used epoxy to seal the gap and holes. In hindsight I think calking would have worked better than the epoxy. The wire holds it together, the epoxy was just to seal it up. Anyway, my fix has held up for over three years so far.

Maybe even riveting strips of aluminum inside so its less noticeable it would work as good if not better to secure it

One more thing about the Champion rad:
The petcock to drain the rad had no holes, so regardless of tightening or loosing - it didn't drain.
Had to unscrew the petcock housing completely out of the rad.
The petcock and it's mount are pointed to the rear on the passenger side.
When it came off, the coolant came out like a fire hose.
Luckily I anticipated this and used a liter bottle without a cap and pointed upside down with a hole cut to place over the petcock.
I value it directed 65% coolant to the correct downward direction.

How did you attach the '04 flares on your '00? Does your truck have the punch out holes on the fenders or did you attach them using 3M tape? I have a set of flares from an '01 that I'd like to try on my '99

You can just use the existing holes in the wheel wells for the older flares, don’t need to clips in the fenders.

Did you have to add the protective rubber trim on the flares? I'll have to pick up some pins for the existing wheel well holes.

I mean, I don’t think theyre required, but probably wouldn’t look very nice without them. You can buy them new from a dealer.

You’ll need screws, they might already be there.

There are lots of ways you could do it. Just make sure anything you put on the inside is very secure. You don't want anything falling off and gong though your engine.

1st rollout on the highway since the aquapel windshield treatment (2-22-20) in rain heavy enough that required intermittent wiper action :rain:
was impressed with the action, barely had to use the wipers unless there was somebody spraying me from the front
it looked like basic Freezing Drizzle pellets on the windshield rolling off, it is 35F here so maybe it was freezing drizzle idk, roads did not appear slippery so perhaps no

.... in other news, more bs beef amongst the local 3rd gens & have to fend off :(
    getting the best of me
