Gonna bump this ancient thread cuz I am wondering what would be involved in changing out the hideous front end on a 2000 to that of a 97. Grille, valance bumper, etc.? Thanks gents.

If you can swing it just go with projector headlights, they put everything else to shame. They are a chore to install, modify correctly but well worth it.

Pic of how close you are to the airbox and battery in the back? I started to do this swap, but realized the projectors where going to stick SOOO far out the back i was almost sure they wouldn't fit. Never measured haha

so now the half completed retro fit has been sitting in a box for 2 years

Get some Morimoto mini H1 7.0, the D2S projectors headlights are deeper and might hit the battery.

H1 mini fit, the wires push up against the battery but no big deal
