I noticed an issue with my bumper where the passenger side was pushed in. I then also noticed a bed gap issue, but it's a fraction of an inch so I don't know if it's pushed forward or just a gap issue from the factory.

There is no impact mark on the bumper, anywhere. I don't know how the damage happened. I would imagine that if someone hit my tow hitch it would push that and the bumper down. I'm at a loss.

Don't mind the mud, it needs a pressure washer under the truck for a bit (I found a muddy parking lot with deep puddles)

    - Anyone know what the typical replacement cost from a shop would be to replace the rear bumper and mounts (figuring out if I want insurance to cover and I'll buy an after market, or if I just pay out of pocket)
    - Any chance someone can compare my bed gap photos with their not-possibly-messed-up-truck?

I also noticed that my CBI bars are not lining up anymore, one side is pushed up.

I don't have that generation, but your bed looks really close to the cab. Even with no scuffs someone could have backed into your bumper at some point, contacting on the plastic. As long as they didn't scrape it's possible to not leave marks.

That being said, if there's no actual damage you might just need to adjust the positioning of your bed/bumper. Haven't done it myself but I know it's possible.

The bed and bumper mount completely independent of each other. If both shifted all of a sudden - the frame is the culprit. Bending the frame is no small task and if another vehicle caused it, there would be clear indications of the collision. Hauling an extremely heavy load (like a bed full of gravel) or abusive offroading (back end bucking significantly off the ground repeatedly) could also do it.

My bet is you're just now noticing some minor misalignment of the bumper and bed that have been there for a long time. You just need to loosen the mounting bolts for the bumper and re-position them where you want them. Same thing with the bed.

I was thinking this until I made the connection about the CBI bars being out of alignment. You can see in the 1st and 2nd photo how one side is pushed up, when they were level when installed. There seems to have been significant movement to force the CBI bar up on one side. I am puzzled about the lack of any impact marks. No serious off-roading here, just some mud puddles in a parking lot.

You can also see where the bumper impacted the tow hitch assembly and bent in the 3rd photo.

Well, as long as a new frame (if needed) doesn't cost more than 18k, I should be good to go for insurance to handle it and not total it out.

Your bed has shifted on the bed bolts. Loosen them, move the bed until it's evenly spaced with the cab and the bumper, tighten the bolts, and call it day. There's nothing wrong with your bumper.

Filing an insurance claim for this is silly. This is the vehicle version of hypochondria and would be best suited for a Honda Ridgeline forum.

Spray your bed bolts with some PB blaster tonight. Spray from the wheel well so you can get to where the bolt screws into the frame. Them suckers can seize up and be tight. I've stripped the head of mine out before.

You'll need a T-55 Torx socket for the bed bolts.
