Front receiver hitch

Has anyone installed one on a Trd off-road? I am considering getting one so I can use a fishing basket up front for surf fishing. It could be handy for other things. https://www.etrailer.com/Front-Hitch/Toyota/Tacoma/2018/C31075.html

 

This isn't the same exact hitch, but its the cleanest front hitch on a 3rd gen ive seen.
You can use it for a winch that can be moved front or rear depending on recovery needs like the guy in the post did

I’ve put one on, works great. Took it off for a winch bumper. Have the receiver for sale in NE PA.

 

I haven't, but it looks like it sits low in the front; might mess up your approach angle if that matters to you.

I like that higher mounting position of that.
Although I doubt the lower mount would be a problem since I moved from the Rockies back to flatland. The higher mount is a solid 200 bucks more,
