Seems bosal and walker have the down pipe with o2 bung for 2.4 / 2.7s and such but no luck for 3.4 (single exhaust) aside from the 230 oem one on line. I have been getting things in order prior to fixing up the other engine (making removal and install easier) . My exhaust from the downpipe to past the cat is a rusted mess where its held on by pure rust and what might be left of the studs. Are there not sub 120 dollar options aside from buying another used? Thanks. part #1741007070

I'm sorry, I dont know about anything specific for your truck, but in years having worked on and around cars, I always found a decent muffler/exhaust shop could weld or make a new pipe cheaper than OEM and most times cheaper the aftermarket. I know on hondas and acuras we used to go to the local muffler shop for A pipes and flex pipes more often than OE. That was while working at an Acura dealer. GL

I have the California Emissions 2 cats

Not sure if your exhaust is different then my 2000 but I don`t have a down pipe .

The front converter bolts to the crossover pipe the same style but on the left side in my 92 4Runner 3.4

Perhaps search for Crossover pipe .

If you only have one Cat most exhaust shops should be able to make what you need.

Yeah, so its the crossover into one pipe, the one pipe has the pre cat o2 sensor bung on it (the top portion has a collection where the 2 runners meet) if it was a standard flange i doubt it would be a big deal. I will check with the exhaust shop anyway.

To have a Cross over pipe built would be very expensive.

Look for a used one . Put new studs in call it good

Depends how you use the truck.

Some have made a simple pipe dropping from each Exhaust manifold joining under the truck.

If clearance is a problem it might not work.

IIRC, the 96-97 is a special, 2 year only pipe. I remember that I could only get mine (96 3.4 4X4) from the dealer.
