    Any burglar has the 'element of surprise' on their side. You don't know they're even coming for you until its too late. So... you'll be lucky if he doesn't shoot you first.

    So you're saying I should take down my ADT sign, then.

    I don't have a problem with real burglars -- there's just a bunch of kids/dopers in the neighborhood who would break in to get some quick cash/jewelry/iPods/etc.

    I would think the sign would be a bigger deterrent than the alarm system itself -- which is a piece of crap.

    i've always been a bit paranoid of having too much info out on the interwebs. i don't facebook or twitter for this very reason. i also use "trash" email accounts for any dealings that seem questionable and Paypal or Walmart prepaid Visas for monetary dealings. there is too much info about me available already, so i try not to add to the problem if i can help it.

    this reminds me to clean up my photobucket account. :)
